The Redwood Technologies Group is delighted to announce its support for this year’s Soldiering On Awards, where it will be sponsoring the Healthcare & Rehabilitation category.
The awards provide national recognition for the exceptional achievements of those working with and within the Armed Forces Community, and aim to encourage backing for vital support networks, such as those required to combat psychological damage sustained in the field. The Healthcare & Rehabilitation Award therefore recognises major contributions to the treatment, prevention or rehabilitation of ill health or injury amongst Armed Forces personnel.
The prestigious judging panel includes General the Lord Dannatt GCB CBE MC DL; Debra Allcock Tyler, Chief Executive of Directory of Social Change; Major-General Ranald Munro CBE TD VR; as well as Redwood Technologies Group CMO, Martin Taylor.
Other categories include awards for Inspiration, Family Values and Animal Partnerships, with members of the public also voting via the Daily Express newspaper to decide a number of the awards.
All nominees will attend a special champagne and canapé reception at the House of Lords in February, which will recognise the finalists as well as those who nominated them. Winners will later be announced on March 24th, at the seventh Soldiering On Awards. The grand ceremony, hosted by Jeremy Vine and Angela Rippon, involves a three-course banquet with entertainment and will take place at Westminster Bridge Hotel in London.
Martin Taylor, CMO at the Redwood Technologies Group, commented:
“The Armed Forces represent an essential part of our society, so it is a privilege to support them in whatever way we can. The strong and sustained growth enjoyed by this and other companies is only possible thanks to the secure society defended by those currently serving, those who have served and, not least, by those behind the scenes providing essential support. This is precisely why we are part of the Employer Recognition Scheme for the Armed Forces Covenant and are sponsoring this year’s seventh Soldiering On Awards.”
