On Friday the 28th of June, Bracknell MP Dr Phillip Lee visited communications software development company Redwood Technologies at its new UK headquarters, Radius Court.

Dr Lee started his two hour visit with a lunchtime discussion with Redwood’s Managing Director Sean Taylor. They swapped notes on the current business climate and the challenges facing UK businesses both domestically and within Europe.

Dr Lee then conducted a political round-table discussion with selected members of Redwood’s team. A wide range of topics were discussed, including thoughts on a fourth runway at Heathrow, smart grid technology and metering, measures to stimulate the economy and closer-to-home subjects such as the regeneration of Bracknell town centre.

“I was delighted to visit the new offices of Content Guru and Redwood Technologies at Radius Court in Bracknell,” said Dr. Lee. “The new location will provide the ideal base for a growing and expanding Bracknell-based business. I would like to congratulate Sean and Martin Taylor for their continuing success at the forefront of innovation and next generation technologies.”

“We’re delighted that Phillip has taken time to come and see us. Since he became our local MP he’s kept regular track of our progress and shares our interest in new technology trends,” commented Sean Taylor. “He appreciates that businesses such as ours are the lifeblood of the economy.”

Taylor continued: “I’ve chatted with several of my colleagues about the visit. They were delighted to meet a straight-talking MP and really enjoyed spending time with him.”
