RTMonitor® – O&M
RTMonitor provides information on how RTComposer® applications are running, giving full visibility of the operation of the application, in real time. RTMonitor can connect to remote sites in order to view live information. RTMonitor has several operating modes, so that no more information is presented than is needed to solve the problem. Some features available are:
- Start and stop a named application on an individual line or timeslot
- Start and stop monitoring
- Single-step an application, Action Cell by Action Cell
- Log the execution of the application to a file
- Define the level of activity (for example, trace everything, or trace errors only)
In addition to the main RTMonitor utility, there is a continual history file of the last few events on every line and every timeslot. This is a particularly useful diagnostic aid when an obscure flaw in the design of an application causes occasional random failure.
RTMonitor can run on the INX™ that is hosting the application, over a LAN, or remotely through dial-up access.
