RedLink® – Unified Messaging and Unified Communications

This is Redwood’s suite of Unified Messaging (UM) services. Facilities such as voice mail, fax mail, forwarding of voice and fax messages to e-mail addresses and automatic reading of e-mails over the telephone are all available. Desktop and web interfaces are available for the control of these applications.

RedLink is a high capacity voice and fax messaging system. It meets the needs of Airtime Resellers, Value Added Network Services bureaux, and the operators of wireline and mobile telecommunications networks.

RedLink provides a spectrum of services, from voice messaging or fax messaging, up to complex Unified Messaging. RedLink can provide additional features not normally considered part of a messaging service, such as Single Numbering, or Account Calling Card. There is complete flexibility in how the service features are managed and billed, providing great commercial flexibility.

RedLink is particularly strong in the facilities provided for ‘contactability’, providing services which the end user will perceive to have very high value.

Access to mailboxes can be via incoming DDI, manual selection via DTMF or drop through from another service. Each user can have their own personalised greeting for their callers. Notification of messages can be via call-out, with SMS, or to pager. Advanced features include timed message forwarding, automatic fax forwarding and question & answer mailboxes.

RedLink uses Redwood’s RTSinfonia® architecture, and IVR or other telecommunications services can be easily integrated onto the same RedLink platform.

RedLink can integrate with Administration and Billing Systems from third parties, or with Redwood RTBackOffice. For operators wishing to introduce their services on a smaller scale, there are entry level configurations of RedLink. These provide all service functions, including administration and billing, in a single low cost platform.
