RedAlert is a state-of-the-art communications system used for contacting large volumes of people within a short timeframe. The solution is scalable, ranging from systems that are used to contact just tens of employees through to national-level systems that can contact tens of millions of inhabitants within hours.
RedAlert is used by a wide variety of clients including large enterprises, fixed line operators, mobile operators and ISPs. It is designed for any organization that might need to contact groups of employees or customers quickly.
RedAlert is Redwood’s rapid message dissemination service, which provides the means to send information out to contact groups by telephone, SMS, email, pager or fax quickly and efficiently.
Contact details are entered in to the system, and contact groups are assembled. When a message needs to be sent, the operator composes or records the message and sends it to the appropriate contact group.
Pre-defined messages, both system-wide and organisation-wide, can also be configured for rapid dissemination.

Meanwhile, Redwood’s RedMatrix™ large scale multi-party conferencing package brings with it the ability to offer live feeds from conferenced parties rather than recorded announcements. These conferences can be scheduled beforehand or created immediately in response to an emergency with potentially thousands of people listening in on live updates.
For recording, RedRecorder™ is Redwood’s call recording family of products. With silent or optional background whisper prompt connection, it provides the ideal way of monitoring or recording critical information and feedback from RedMatrix conferences. This recorded information can then be broadcast after a conference using RedAlert.
A further option is the RedLink™ Unified Communications and Messaging family. With RedLink the outbound communication can be uniquely tailored to the recipient. Options range from voice mail negotiation to broadcasting on various additional media such as e-mail, SMS and paging networks.
