Awards

The Redwood Technologies Group supports a number of local and national awards that recognise the efforts of both individuals and organisations to make a difference to people’s lives.

Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards

The Pride of Bracknell Forest Awards recognise the high achievers and unsung heroes of Bracknell Forest, highlighting the very best and brightest people in the borough, from teachers and volunteers to teams, charities and businesses.

The Redwood Technologies Group has shown support for the awards for a number of years and, since 2016, has been the lead sponsor and organiser of the Awards. In 2017, the Group will sponsor two categories. Group founding member Redwood Technologies will sponsor the ‘John Nike Pride of Bracknell Forest Children’s Award’ and Content Guru will sponsor the ‘Health and Sport – Young Person’s Award’.

Soldiering On Awards

The Soldiering On Awards provide national recognition for the exceptional achievements of those working with and within the Armed Forces Community, and aim to encourage backing for vital support networks, such as those required to combat psychological damage sustained in the field.

The Redwood Technologies Group sponsored the ‘Healthcare and Rehabilitation’ category at the Awards in March 2017. Read more about the 2017 Awards.

The Slough Voluntary Services Awards celebrate the work of charities and voluntary groups who make a difference in Slough and its surrounding community. Redwood Technologies sponsored the awards in November 2016. Read the full story here.

Armed Forces Covenant Award

Content Guru was honoured with a bronze award from the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

The ERS recognises commitment and support from UK employers for defence personnel who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces, as well as their families. The bronze award recognises employers who pledge their support for the armed forces and are open to employing reservists, veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors, and military spouses and partners.
