Redwood Technologies Group in Mega Mission to Malaysia

The Redwood Technologies Group, a global solutions leader in innovative communications and cloud customer engagement, expands its reach into South East Asia next month, as it takes part in the UK Mega Technology Mission to Malaysia from 9th-11th October 2017.

The Mega Technology Mission, organised by the British government’s Department for International Trade (DIT), provides a prestigious platform for selected UK technology businesses to make high-level Malaysian contacts within a diplomatic framework. Invited Malaysian government and large corporate leaders will gain privileged access to the Best of British Technology, and to some of the world’s leading ICT innovators.

The Mega Technology Mission event will be spread across three days and two cities, with the first and second days spent in Kuala Lumpur and the third in Johor Bahru, which lies opposite Singapore in the far south of Peninsular Malaysia.

Redwood Technologies Goes for Gold with Brittelstand Symposium Sponsorship

On Wednesday 20th September, Redwood Technologies will be attending the Brittelstand Symposium as a Gold Sponsor. Held at Henley Business School, this annual, invite-only event addresses the challenges of Mid-Market Enterprises.

The event has been organised by Biz Utd, an organisation devoted to connecting and supporting the owners and managers of medium-sized wealth creating businesses. The Symposium will enable directors and shareholders of organisations with turnover greater than £1m to discuss the most pressing issues in the world of business.

The name Brittelstand stems from the German Mittelstand, the medium-sized enterprises that form the backbone of Germany’s powerful economy. Brittelstand, the British version, is a shorthand for Britain’s 33,000 medium-sized businesses. These companies create more jobs than either small businesses or large ones, and they are the fast-growth exporters on which Britain will depend post-Brexit. There are twice as many such businesses in Germany – hence the challenge implicit in the name Brittelstand.

This year’s Symposium offers attendees a unique chance to hear from, and interact with, leading business and policy figures such as the CBI President and Bibby Lines Chairman Paul Dreschler CBE, Transport for the North Chairman and former CBI Director General John Cridland CBE, London Business School’s Entrepreneur in Residence and former Cantab Pharmaceuticals CEO Jurek Sikorski, and UK Government Minister Dr Phillip Lee MP.

Throughout the day, special panel interviews with Thames Valley business stars will address key topics such as leadership, finance, talent, cyber security and managing technology disruptors, such as Artificial Intelligence.

Redwood Technologies Group’s Global CMO Martin Taylor will be taking part in a panel discussion alongside award-winning entrepreneur Paul Lindley and Chris Sykes, CEO of AI agency Volume Global, looking at the factors driving business success today.

KPN and Content Guru Enter into New Deal with Sanoma

Leading European media and learning company Sanoma has entered into a new deal with KPN and Content Guru. The new agreement defines Sanoma’s move from outdated, legacy systems to a single, centralized, Cloud Contact Center architecture for Sanoma Group companies in Belgium (VanIn) and the Netherlands (Aldipress).

Content Guru to Launch Knowledge Management System at CCW Vegas

Sister company Content Guru has announced that it will launch a new hybrid of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and case management solutions, its storm® Customer Knowledge System™ (CKS™), at the 18th annual CCW Conference & Expo, which will be held from 26th – 30th June at the Mirage, Las Vegas.

The product is designed to address the gap in the marketplace for customers who want lightweight CRM at a cost-effective price, seamlessly connected to their multi-channel communications estate. CKS can also act as an overlay solution, connecting to multiple third-party CRM and case management systems, enabling unification of the desktop.

Content Guru and NHS Shortlisted for Major Digital Technology Leaders Award

Content Guru has been named a finalist in the ‘Best Public Sector Digital Project’ category at the 2017 Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards.

Winners will be announced at a black tie ceremony to be held on Thursday, 6th July at the Jumeriah Carlton Tower in London, where finalists will enjoy a drinks reception followed by a celebrity-hosted gala dinner.

Content Guru and its collaboration partner, NHS Healthy London Partnership, have been nominated in the awards’ ‘Project Excellence’ division. Their storm® ASSIST™ solution for Patient Relationship Management will be competing against other technology industry leaders’ most prestigious government contracts to gain the title of ‘Best Public Sector Digital Project’.

Leading Dutch communications provider KPN and award-winning customer engagement provider Content Guru have announced the renewal of their storm® partnership for another five-year period.

Since 2012, the storm platform has been KPN’s cloud contact center solution of choice across the Benelux, delivering a signature blend of highly-scalable, multi-channel contact routing and Communications Integration™ to enable existing information systems to interoperate. Through the partnership, some 100 clients now use the platform in the region, including world-leading brands such as Chubb, Fleurop Interflora and Sodexo.

Redwood Technologies Group GmbH Established in Germany

The Redwood Technologies Group continues its global expansion with the restructuring of its German operations and establishment of Redwood Technologies GmbH in Germany, moving the Group’s regional German office from Düsseldorf to Munich and installing Wolfgang Hellmanzik as Country Manager.

Redwood Technologies GmbH will deliver in-country cloud contact center and customer engagement capabilities to German businesses through the award-winning storm® platform, while building on the Group’s existing track record in the deployment of premises-based equipment in Germany for clients such as Deutsche Telekom. Redwood Technologies will take the place of former Group member Radius Communications GmbH in the German contact center space. The decision to phase out Radius aims to consolidate the Group’s more established brands while simplifying the Group structure to better support its continuing rapid growth rates.

The new Germany-based team will operate out of a new head office in Munich, with Wolfgang Hellmanzik taking the role of Country Manager DACH (Deutschland, Austria & Switzerland). He will be responsible for managing cloud deployments of storm across Germany, having previously worked as CEO at IT ConXept GmbH and Managing Director: Central Europe at Aculab.

When asked about his new role, Hellmanzik said:

“I’m thrilled and I feel honored to be taking on such a key role within the Group. Germany is Europe’s second largest contact center market with a fast-growing cloud communications market, making it an excellent time to work with Redwood Technologies’ award-winning brand and Europe’s largest Communications Integration Platform™.”
