Zain Zainal, Senior Project Manager

Zain ZainalZain joined Redwood in 2002, from Alcatel, where he worked in the Asia-Pacific region technical support team. A graduate of George Washington University, Washington DC, with a BSc in Electrical Engineering, Zain also has extensive experience in mobile communications and worked on the Total Airport Management System at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

We’re seeing rising demand for the kind of converged services that our products can deliver and the product team here is developing new bespoke services all the time.”

Irfan HabibIrfan joined Redwood through our graduate recruitment programme in 2002, as an engineer in the Engineering Services team. He graduated with a Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with Management from Imperial College, and now offers Redwood clients a valuable blend of technical expertise and commercial acumen.

Kevin RobertsonAfter gaining a First Class Honours Degree in Computer Systems and Electronics and the top student award at King’s College London, Kevin worked for four years in Air Traffic Services, a high reliability, safety critical environment. There he became a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (formerly the IEE) and also had some Quality Management experience. He joined Redwood in 1997.

Robert MansfieldRobert joined Redwood Technologies in 1996 from Lucent Technologies Computer Telephony Products (formerly Rhetorex Europe), where he worked from graduation, having started in technical support and finished as Engineering Manager. He graduated from King’s College London with a BSc (Hons) in Electronics and Computer Science.

 “I have one of the most enjoyable jobs at Redwood, working in the heart of our core technology design team, keeping our capabilities and architecture right at the cutting edge. Every day I am tackling the challenges of what can be delivered today, whilst mapping out the next generation of technology alongside my colleagues in California.”

Kalpesh Patel, Senior Project Manager

Kalpesh PatelKalpesh has been part of the Redwood team since 1997, having joined as a support engineer after graduating in Computer Science at Manchester University.

We’ve managed to retain that small company intensity, even though we’re working on much larger scale projects these days; it’s a tremendously exciting environment, always challenging, always rewarding.”

Matthew joined Redwood in 1995 after graduating from University with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science.

“I get a great deal of satisfaction having joined the company when we were a fraction of our current size, and seeing where we are now; competing with top companies across so many different sectors. I’ve always been into gadgets and computers, and the fact we’ve always pushed the boundaries of the latest technologies (and made them work), is why I really enjoy what I do.”

Pradeep Sharma, Financial Controller

Pradeep SharmaPradeep joined the Redwood team in 2007 after almost 20 years in Head Office and then Financial Controller roles in the paper manufacturing industry. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Pannell Kerr Forster (PKF), a top 10 international practice, after graduating in Law from Queen Mary College, London.

Sue Radley, Business Development Manager

Sue RadleySue joined Redwood Technologies in 2000, having gained extensive experience in the world of international commerce. Starting as credit controller, she soon switched to a business development role and now services key accounts for both Redwood Technologies and Content Guru.

“We’re in such a fast-moving business, you literally don’t know what to expect from day to day. It’s always been the same, partly because of the innovations that come from Redwood, and partly because our customers are also highly creative. With the drive to cut costs, and to do more with less, the technologies we are developing have a vital strategic role to play in the economic recovery.”
